The MOmarsh Final Stand has be a valuable piece of equiptment during training, hunting, and even when lounging in the house. I believe that any large breed dog owner should have one.
This is one of my favorite dog stands out there and I have tried a few. The MOmarsh final stand seems to hold up to the endurance test in any situation. With it's sturdy construction, adjustable legs, light weight, and mesh bottom to let water drain I believe it will quickly become one of your favorite dog stands as well.
Durability
I was impressed when the MOmarsh Final Stand was able to hold up to the chewing of a puppy multiple times over. I still have a stand that works after seeing multiple different puppies try their best to destroy it. This particular stand does not look the best anymore but it still works and dogs still love to get up on it when told to go to place. The feet are chewed, the mesh bottom has straps that have been eaten, and the pouch that held the stakes for the feet has disappeared but it still functions to hold a dog.
There was a period of time where this stand never left the bed of my truck unless it was set up in a field. It withstood the rain, sun, and other elements with no issues. Is it faded? Yes. Is it stained? Yes. Are the legs slightly rusty? Yes. Does it still function properly? It sure does. This is one well made stand.
Light Weight
The MOmarsh Final Stand is extremely easy to carry into the field. It has a strap that will keep the legs folded up so you do not have to worry about them unfolding while you are walking. This allows you to carry the stand with one hand. Plus, it is light enough for a long walk into the field without wearing you out while carrying other gear.
This is a stand that can also be used in the house. I have used it multiple times without the feet scratching my floors. It is easy enough to move around that bringing it in the house is no issue.
Mesh Bottom
This could be one of the easiest dog stands to clean on the market. Just grab the house and spray it down. That's it! The MOmarsh Final Stand will also dry extremely fast.
I have even used a pressure washer on it before when it was extra dirty. I had no issues with the pressure washer being too much for the mesh bottom.
Adjustable Legs
One feature that I must mention is the adjustable legs. This has been fantastic for teaching younger dogs how to heighten their jump.
Teaching a dog how to jump up into their kennel when it is in the back of a truck bed or lifted any reasonable distance off the ground can be tough and time consuming. I have found that using the MOmarsh Final Stand while slightly increasing the length of the legs to teach the dog place will get the jumping higher faster. It makes that progression easier being able to adjust an inch at a time.
These legs also come in handy when working in water to make sure that the dog is not sitting in the water but up above it so that they can stay dry.
Final Thoughts
Whether using it in the house or in the field the MOmarsh Final Stand is one of the best dog stands on the market. If you have debated about getting one I hope this helps sway you in the right direction. I can not imagine puppy training without it. When the dogs are in the house, they are usually on their stands. I am constantly debating on getting more just to continue to make life easier.
The one hundred and fifty dollar price tag might seem expensive but in my opinion is well worth it.
